Workshop 3: Slinky Merino Rib Mock Turtleneck

by Debbie Baer January 30, 2019

Solid, elegant, coolly reserved, The Slinky Merino Rib Mock Turtleneck is the sophisticate of our Merino Wool Trio.
 * * *

With all the benefits of merino wool in an understatedly cool silhouette, Miss Slinky is the type of gal who doesn’t say much--so when she does everyone listens.

She isn’t a show off (I’m looking at you, Slouchy Stripe Merino Tunic), instead she relies on the subtlety of her collar--that one little perfectly-proportioned inch of fabric at her neckline--to give her that effortless-cool vibe.

If you have one of our Cozy Merino Layering Tops you’re already familiar with the fabric of this understated little number--it’s the solid-colored rib knit on the cuffs and around the neckline. Rib knit is stretchier than flat knit and in this style it slinks down your arms and around your curves for a pleasing fit.

If you’re not paying attention, Miss Slinky will pass you by undetected, making her the perfect behind-the-scenes layering piece. She can be pretty serious, so layer her with our Sweatshirt Grey Midline Crop to lighten the mood if you want.

On her own she’ll elevate your look without anyone being able to put their finger on what exactly you did differently, but you’ll know it’s her clean lines, on-point proportions and seductively ribbed fabric.

Oh, and she’s not too serious to take a spin--like all of our Merino tops, Miss Slinky is machine washable ;)

The fabric for the Slinky Merino Rib Mock Turtleneck is leftover from old production runs so we can only make 10 of these lovelies & to save resources we’re making them to order!

Here’s how it works: place an order to reserve one of the 10 tops. In the notes section of your order tell us what size you’d like. (Here’s our knits size chart) Your top will be sent to you within one week of placing your order. Free returns/refunds will be accepted within 16 days of shipping and exchanges will be honored if inventory allows.
